To add insult to injury, that first sale by the MM will show up in the daily reports as a "Short" sale, and anyone who doesn't understand how markets actually work (or someone who chooses to distorst the information) will point to that transaction as PROOF that Evil Naked Short Sellers are at work, and a short squeeze is right around the corner.
