It's far better to effect a R/S now and tidy up the share structure in advance of an incoming operating company. A R/S wouldn't be a buzz kill since the stock is trading No Bid x $0.0001.

If done right (meaning no or very limited dilution post R/S) it would simply provide an active Bid and hopefully a relevant valuation with the operating company inside the shell.
