Even if they were buying back shares... there wouldn't be a change to the O/S unless they de-registered the shares they bought. Also, there would only be a change to the float if they restricted the shares they bought or declared them "beneficially owned"... which I'm not sure they can do. They could however file a form 4, "STATEMENT OF CHANGES OF BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP OF SECURITIES", if they wanted to let us know how much and at what price they've bought at. I'm not sure if they're required to and in what time frame.

A lot of TAs are not divulging information regardless now a' days for what ever reason. I'm not sure though.
