With all due respect, I think your analysis of the Entertainment industry is just about 100% wrong.

BCCI won't even get a 'year' if it doesn't produce ratings. I have a friend who starred in an Atlanta based, national reality show and the plug was pulled after 3 shows due to ratings.

This isn't 1975 where you get 2-3 yrs to 'develop an audience', produce or perish almost immediately.

Margins are tighter than ever and the industry is rife with people 'paying to play', some with money, some with other 'assets'.
