SDE has been operating for 17 years.

Mr. Ovadia, SDE's CEO, is the inventor of the hydro-pneumatic system for production of energy from sea waves and founder of the company.

Primarily, S.D.E.'s technology was chosen due to the high energy efficiency, low cost of power generation, low risk to the system and low maintenance costs.

Only the flotation devices are set in the water thus 90% of the system is on land and can be set at a safe distance, thus guarding it from detrimental weather condition and corrosion.

In addition, SDE's system can be connected to the local power grid with only minor changes.

Our technology can be placed along coastlines, where most of the world's population is situated and so help provide electricity where it is needed most.

We have built 12 models in Jaffa port, Israel.

We are currently in the final stages of our second plant in Hainan in China of 150 KW, which has successfully produced electricity.

We have been in touch with governments, ministers of Energy, power companies and other entities in the energy sector, promoting sea wave energy.
