Right. Crush the rock and sluice it. Totally impossible. They keep selling equipiment for it because it can't possibly work. There's no way to crush rock.

Why do you think they patrol wastelands so carefully? What's out there? It's not like they ever let anyone on to Forest Service land to shoot or enjoy motorsports or hike, so that all the rangers would instantly know if anyone were doing anything on the property.

A mine is closed ergo no one could get in. No one could shoot off a lock or cut a fence. Impossible. No one could let them in either.
