I'm not up to speed on types of company shares that exist, as I think John Bourque has special shares that have special voting powers. Also, that issuance of shares to IronRidge for cash to be used by this company seemed to be a low number, but a post was made to explained how it was expanded, so that type of company owned (ability) to create shares seems possible along with what seemed to be a method to pay for services with newly created BORKs.
Does a market cap of $900,000 have the following calculation?
$900,000 / $0.002 / BORK = 450,000,000 BORKs
or, there are 450 million BORKs "out there"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Market_capitalization
Market capitalization (or market cap) is the total value of the issued shares of a publicly traded company, equal to the share price times the number of shares outstanding.
Market cap terms
Micro cap: Below $250 million
Nano cap: Below $50 million
Kool-aid cap: Below $10 million
Minty Green Kool-aid cap: Below $1 million
Significant impact on how the total value of a company is allocated between equity and debt. A more comprehensive measure is Enterprise Value (EV), which includes debt, preferred stock, and other factors.
