Below chart shows Institutional Ownership has increased by 15.11%, and the net gain in such ownership.

While encouraging, it is important to note that such ownership remains small, and the inclusion of NWBO to the Russel Global and the Russel 3,000 Indexes meant an expected increase in institutional ownership, as noted by the NWBO PR on the subject. Recall also the large volume on the Russel Reconstitution closing cross day 6/24/14 Interestingly enough, NWBO closed at 6.76 on that day, and closed within a few pennies at 6.72 today.

Russell Indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for active investment strategies. Approximately $5.2 trillion in assets currently are benchmarked to Russell Indexes. -NWBO PR 6/16/14
