WFM created a trend/brand that i can't be thankful enough! they also created little by little a very big competition empire. here's my grocery shopping routine:

1. Whole Foods Market. organic pork, beef/grass fed, organic chicken, all with animal welfare rating 3 and above. wild sockeye salmon. organic flour. wild shrimp. organic dressings. organic cheeses. organic tortillas. organic rice. pastries.

2. local family owned grocery store. organic green onions- 2 for $0.90. organic tomatoes /organic heirloom tomatoes- $0.98-$1.49/lb. organic lettuce-$0.95 lb. organic cherries $1.49 lb. organic cantaloupe $$0.98-$1.99 ea. organic green peppers $0.98 lb. organic eggplant $0.98 lb. organic zucchini $0.75 lb. if the local guy don't have any of the above, it's still much cheaper to go to any supermarket chain than WFM for organic fruits and veggies.
