I probably shouldn't have said that to that poster but, it just bothers me that we all are tending more and more to look at everything through our own narrow prism instead of looking at the full picture. I tended to be that way, easy to listen to news sources that we want to hear, listen to opinions that validate our confirmation bias, without, really seeing the full picture. If one looks back historically, our leaders have been only reflective of the nation as a whole, with, all, showing both our good and bad sides. Usually one side views a leader as harmful while another views the leader as beneficial, generally, both are probably right to a lesser extent than what they think. Either way, we all still direct our own ultimate destiny, or, at least, I sure hope that we still do.
