I do not disagree with you. However, this guy has testified that he was acting in his capacity as CEO. His actions more than likely created the problems the company is now experiencing with the FDA. We try to live in a civilized society. The actions of the CEO are the actions of the company. The actions have caused damages to people. In order to continue to be a step above the lynch mob society, the investors must have their days in court. It is a sad situation, but you or I certainly should not advocate the abolishment of a person's right to be made whole after suffering damages from the wrongful actions of another citizen. The courts have stated that corporations walk around just like other citizens. It makes no sense for me to get out now because of the prices I paid for the stock. I just have to hope that the company can somehow survive long enough to pursue the science. However, I am not happy about the chances in light of the actions of the founder.
