Possible situation

IMO Shorts tried to expand profit taking by creating lots of down volume after the close, preopen and on the open. 55k sold in first minute and more selling during the call. Note that as soon as the call ended, the stock traded up from 17.20 to 17.40. I put a bid at .4o and as of yet, not hit. This was probably relief buying because no new negatives were stated on the call and the stock was down almost $2 from the high. In fact the export demand and capital improvement statements were quite positive news. I would expect shorts to not give up. However, this could easily get out of hand (squeeze) if PEIX closes above $17.82 or its high of 18.23 on such a horrible day for small caps (Russell down 1.86%). As others have said on the board, its a marathon and not a sprint. HOwever, on a day like today, shorts get very confident as they are making money (or loosing less) accross the board. You have to love the drama of the game.
