When you said in your recent post that she could choose to go BK and buy back her own products for a song, and redistribute them under a different name:
that might be exactly what she's planning: a planned BK.
Then go private.

When her accountant said a couple mos. ago that the company is in the throes of reorganization, what other options are available to her?

She's tried this R/S and look where the company is now.
