So explain Wynnefield Capital buying 1,000,000 shares above $8 only to see the share price decline to the low $6s. The WC position didn't cause the 'market' price to appreciate during the accumulation or subsequent period thereafter.

I don't expect an enlightening reply, but am asking a rhetorical question to infer that the share price is a reflection of many factors that one may or may not have any control. So your perception that buying 5K shares today will cause the "market" PPS to run is very likely false.

I felt reasonably confident that upon the Tiger Woods announcement, that the 10X average trading volume to all the retail mooches caused the MM to fill some of these retail orders with no inventory....essentially shorted those shares. I felt it was likely that a PPS decline would occur as the volume dried up to allow the MM to cover those sales. If you place an "order for 5K shares during this period, the MM would like fill by shorting those 5K too and continue to walk down the price. MM are not entirely naked. Often they work in collusion with controlling entities. Perhaps the MM paid Dr. Frost a pre-arranged fee for the access to inventory he shorted. It's called "parking" in street parlance. I posted the exact time frame over 45 days in advance, that I expected this decline to occur. It's not aerospace engineering but it does take some foresight as to what is going to drive the stock in the short and long term.

I have no idea what happens from here other than the fact I look to reassess the situation often and look for opportunities. I watch MSLP for nearly 2 years before I took my first position in the equity. I did at a basis of $6.81 primarily based on the changing fundamentals AND the fact the SEC is involved. I feel it gives me a little security and/or leverage.
