We all want to live near those we love most. Unfortunately, for some parents, concerns for their child’s wellbeing outweigh this need. Carlie, for example, has been separated from her Southern Indiana home – and her beloved mom and dad – by hundreds of miles for ten years because she needs specialized care.
Rauch's Hope at Hawthorn Glen project is providing a solution for people like Carlie and her parents. This project will construct 4 houses serving a total of 12 people with developmental disabilities, including a specialized residence for people like Carlie with a diagnosis of Prader-Willi Syndrome. We're proud to share that we've met our $1.101 million fundraising goal thanks to donors like the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, the Ogle Foundation, the Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County, and Michell-Timperman Ritz
