I don't have to be right or wrong. It's not about me. But, it does help if others are doing independent DD and I can see how mine lines up vs theirs.

When several parties all dig for the same treasure, and then all compare notes, some of the uncertainties can be explained or eliminated.

Hey, I've been on rabbit trails before that led me into other plays. Didn't mean to end up there, but had to pursue a lead to the bitter end. I've also abandoned leads that turned out to be spot on.

You just never know, but when it gets revealed, one can either be way ahead of the pack, or one can be trying to catch up. In the world of investing, I like to be as far in the front as I can possibly be. (I don't have a lot of cash to just throw down the toilet....... but even if I did......... oh, never mind.)
