YEAH YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT ENTIRELY.
The company owns the goose that lays the golden egg.
The company could care less about the stock price be it a quarter a dime a nickel or a penny.
They only care about volume.
No volume - no liquidity
No liquidity is the kiss of death for any public company.
