I doubt they put up any money, but who knows. If I remember correctly, they(IBM) were part of the Zumwalt contract. I believe Ants sold the ADS to 4Js for 3.5 million and it probably cost a lot less to buy it back. The applicable patents show no assignee post 4Js in 2008. Several of the others were assigned to Wells Fargo in 2011 and that is likely related to the exchange note agreement which gave the note holders the right to the assets under default conditions.
