Drunk driver run over by his own truck

Like a giant snowball rolling downhill, things just got worse and worse for Joseph Carl.

Cops say Carl was close to three times over the legal limit when he crashed into a car at a red light.

He followed that by getting out of his truck and whacking the window of the car he hit[, at which point the driver of the car, which had been holding Carl's truck in place following the crash, drove away].

However, it wasn’t over yet.

After the accident, Carl didn’t put his truck in gear, and it began rolling toward him.

This is where someone who wasn’t completely beered up would get out of the way.

Instead, the Gainesville Sun reports Carl "put out his arms and tried to stop" the truck.

Needless to say, it didn’t.

The truck ran over Carl but only left him with breaks in his hand and foot.

Jeffrey faces charges of DUI and DUI property damage.
