HDL-C is not an accurate CVD rick marker, rather the sub classis of HDL-C Particles, are better indicators of CVD risk! Where total triglycerides are link to sdLDL particle count. So the higher triglyceride number maybe more accurate at identifying risk. At least when I tie the pieces of the puzzle together it appears this maybe the case. :>)
