Options expiration on Monday, and FOMC later in the week. You are likely too late to go long here (unless you buy premarket and look for intraday scalp) as I think somewhere between 8:00-8:30am EST we see $1Bil+ notional dumped on the market (at market) to synthetically drop gold. I would be eyeing opportunities to buy puts/go short at around 1286 Gold spot. I'm assuming 16.70-16.90ish ounce the dust settles (pun not intended). Good luck next week people
