ACTC has a new driver in the form of Dr. Wotton. The shareholders get to sit in the back seat, as always. Having been burned so many times by the previous drivers who drove us with an occasional flat, no GPS, failing to keep eyes on the road, neglecting oil changes, and then on display for all to see with hardly ever a car wash while going down the road, we are impatient.
The STEM driver seemingly passes ACTC with the pedal to the metal. Problem is the tach was in redline for them. Going too fast!
I would venture to say that Dr. Wotton is aware of our twice burned, thrice shy sensitivities. His seat in the car is barely warmed.
Credibility and PPS will follow. Let’s not expect or demand speeding, running through red lights when no one is looking, short-cutting by way of the dirt road only to hit the rain half-way there, following too close, and so on.
Oh, don’t forget to buckle-up…..one day we will hear “We are here!”
