The State Dept. said the same thing a year ago about Hafez Assad in Syria and you see how that went. Assad is stronger than ever and has the rebels on their heels. Lets hope the State Dept. finally gets something right because we sure as hell need Maliki out of there if the dinar is to have any hope at all in the future
