Oyster, the story in Huffpost really hits home. As you may know, I have a 9 year old boy with a seizure disorder. On 6 meds his seizures are only some what're controlled, where we still experience emergent situations, spending hours in the ERa month. What they need to focus on is fact that even though he is on half a dozen "big pharma" drugs, he is still exposed, thus they are not even close to solving his medical issues. At what point does therapy cross over to toxicity??!! The (big pharma, Big alcohol, big tobacco) political donors that are lining our elected politicians are slowing down and even trying to prevent MJ to enter the fray. So on the meantime my son body has to be polluted because they are not allowing access to a natural alternative in cannabis. Because of this, I can not even tell you the cognitive and physical delays, he suffers. It's simple, they have pumped billions and billions of R&D money to make much more and at the same time are sleeping with the like of Gov Cuomo et al. There no way the big boy pharma will lay down easy and the politicians know who butters there bread and are not gonna let that go away either. It's been going on like this forever and it's disgusting already. People need to speak up and I certainly don't want to have a tragic story written about my son like the Huffpost story
