It wasn't a picture , it was a video of the BUK. But, that's really ancillary, the tapes leave little doubt. The ground crews are communicating back to Russia about the downed airliner, and describing the wreckage as that of a passenger jet. Their handler is audibly taken aback by that news, and doesn't know how to respond. Unless someone is getting their news from " Russia Today" , it's an excepted fact of who shot down the 777, the only question now is the extent of direct Russian involvement. No one thinks the downing of a "known " passenger jet was intentional, it's a matter of Russia owning the fact they supplied advanced weapons systems , and either advanced training and / or support for this to have occurred.

It will get swept under the rug as far as markets go. Because the financial ramifications for severe sanctions to Europe is untenable.
