I have a coworker who just got an iPhone. He had some 10 -12 year old Nokia. It wasn't even a flip phone. 1 day he was talking about smart phones and I told him that since he has never had one, he just can't understand what he is missing, which is cool. I've been an iPhone owner since 2008-09. I was a Dell Axim pocket PC user a decade ago. Like an iPhone but needed an accessory to enable phone service. Been using PC's since 87-88. Building one was easy, used to buy the Computer Shopper catalog/magazine every month back in the day. Box, board, ps, sound card, video card, processor, flip a couple of jumper switches, plug stuff in etc. depends on what you use it for. These days I use my iPhone for literally 95-99% of my personal computer experience. Gkids play with 4's like iPods. News, weather, ebay, amazon, ihub, trading, you name it. I do it on the iPhone and have since 08-09. It hasn't made our PC at home obsolete, my wife still does Facebook and FarmVille and I used it for some of my college courses. But, damn near.

Anyway, the Apple future as I see it. You walk in the door with your iPhone in your pocket and it seamlessly disconnects from car play and connects to your iTv(which will also be a PC), iMac, iHome or whatever smart products you got. Voice command iTv, lights, thermostat or anything else you have set up. Of course Droid will have this as well, just saying, Apple does stuff better in my opinion.

From an old nerd to a new nerd, give it a shot when that new iPhone comes out. I think it will be the most remarkable iPhone since the iPhone. And you will probably take that final step and evolve into one of us smart phone geeks. lol.
