Well first of all it's not going back into the 40's - if it was ever going to do that again it would have been yesterday after Zerbe showed early stage dementia / alzheimers.

But to answer your hypothetical question - No.

Everything hinges now on who they hire as the new CEO. Remember they didn't do a search / screening to hire Khosla - he was someone Zerbe had wanted for years. Now since Zerbe knows absolutely nothing about running a business (a laboratory yes, but not a clue on a business) - he really wasn't / isn't qualified to pick a CEO.

They have to find a top notch recruiter who deals with upper management placements in the Pharma industry - then interview at least 5-6 people. Since the IGXT board doesn't even know what to look for in a CEO - screening / interviewing numerous people will help them get an idea of the type of person that IGXT would benefit from hiring.

Once I see who the new CEO is - and can do my own background check on that person - then I will know what my next steps will be.
