You're joking, I know, but I'd consider paying 5-10% of the costs if reasonable. Not for you to wring anybody's neck though! 
Rather, for you to stand in for other longs on this board who cannot attend.
My complete wild guess is that there will be only four or five shareholders there, if that. Ones from Florida or nearby. The "management" quantity will outnumber the amount of longs there.
