For SGLB to turn around and go from a technology company to becoming a manufacturer seems like a strange turn of events and a very long road created for themselves.. The companies with the capital and equipment are the ones doing the heavy lifting per se and by the time SGLB raised the money to buy enough printers to start being able to produce high quantities of parts, the big players could have developed their own quality assurance. I think SGLB may use their printer for demonstrations and low quantity specialty parts, but as far as being a "manufacturer" seems a little far fetched.
