Nothing to cheer about there. One wants the PPS to go up, and continue up session after session on high volume.
Light volume only means increased volatility disproportionate to the amount being traded. It also means the ability to later sell into volume bids will be difficult. Volume bids won't exist. Also remember the insiders are still out there wanting to sell. And their cost per share is effectively 0.00. They can scoop up any bids which appear, and still make money undercutting any retail asks.
So yes, volatility on light volume could take the PPS up. But that doesn't guarantee one can escape with profit. At the very least the insiders have to back off the pedal, and go away. Leave retail to fight each other for the future bids. In another words the insiders ran out of stock to dump.
