Maybe they can't get anyone to join the board. High level executives and biotech titans would look at this BOD as a joke. They would not want to be part of the 3 stooges that make up this board. Tough to land some one of high quality when the other bozos have such a checkered past.

Its the reason I believe this is far from a slam dunk or even a free throw as so many things can go wrong in this process. People don't get it that one person could die during the trial and this stock could get hammered. Even if this person doesn't die from the dosage or Bavi its really easy for a trial to be put on hold until further investigation. Sabotage the last time is nothing compared to how easily things can go wrong when you have 600 sites worldwide, but hell who needs a partner.

Strange things happen in Phase III trials and all you have to do is look at MNKD to see how ridiculously they were screwed. Even now they were given labeling that isn't horrible, but surely wasn't what they expected. FDA had to be influenced by BP based on what the final labeling was for MNKD.
