Kim Jong Un Really Hates This Video And Wants It Off The Internet

Dictators never seem to have much of a sense of humor, and North Korea's Kim Jong Un [ http://www.huffingtonpost.com/news/kim-jong-un/ ] is no exception.
Kim is trying to get China to pull the plug on a satirical video [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUgEmezpS_E (above, as embedded)] that, with some not-so-subtle digital trickery, shows him dancing, running, getting poked in the butt by a rocket and more, all set to catchy music. He also gets repeatedly pranked -- often by President Barack Obama.
North Korean officials say the clip "seriously compromises Kim's dignity and authority [ http://english.chosun.com/site/data/html_dir/2014/07/18/2014071800895.html ]," South Korea's Chosun Ilbun newspaper reports.
Naturally, China has been unable to help because once something is online, it's online forever. And Kim doesn't seem to know Rule 19 of the Internet [ http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Rule%2019 ]: The more you hate it, the stronger it gets.
This is not the only video that has Pyongyang going ballistic. North Korea has published another inflammatory propaganda video - this time showing US President Barack Obama and American soldiers in flames.
Just weeks on since the country published a video depicting a US city resembling New York engulfed in flames after an apparent missile attack, Pyongyang has now released a new clip including scenes supposed to show President Obama on fire.
The video also shows US soldiers engulfed in flames and seemingly ends with a reference to North Korea's recent nuclear test.
"North Korea has succeeded in proceeding with this nuclear test despite the United States' increasingly unfair bully activities against North Korea," some of the clip's captions read, according to North Korea news.
Hosted by a website known to distribute state sponsored video, other captions on the clip attack the US for having no respect for others, or for equality and ends by stating, "the people are watching. America should answer."
According to US news site Global Post, the soundtrack to the video comes from the Elder Scrolls Oblivion, a video game.
Weeks after a North Korean video showed an American city razed and ablaze, the hermit kingdom has reportedly released another inflammatory piece of propaganda.
A new video apparently published Sunday shows American soldiers and U.S. President Barack Obama engulfed in flames, with the sequence ending in a simulated nuclear test. According to GlobalPost, the inspirational soundtrack accompanying the footage comes from the Elder Scrolls Oblivion video game series.
"North Korea has succeeded in proceeding with this nuclear test despite the United States' increasingly unfair bully activities against North Korea," part of the videos captions read, according to North Korea news. The captions also go on to say that The U.S. has no respect for others, nor appreciation for equality.
"The people are watching. America should answer," the video concludes.
The YouTube channel of Uriminzokkiri, a website distributing news and propaganda by North Korea's state-run media, is hosting the latest propaganda video. The site also published a similar video earlier in February that showed an American city in flames following an apparent missile attack [last item below].
The international community has recently increased pressure on Pyongyang in response to its December rocket launch and its latest nuclear test in February.
North Korean seems undeterred, however, and North Korean diplomats upped their rhetoric on Tuesday by threatening neighbor South Korea with "final destruction" during a meeting on disarmament at the United Nations. "As the saying goes, a new-born puppy knows no fear of a tiger. South Korea's erratic behavior would only herald its final destruction," North Korean diplomat Jon Yong Ryong said at the meeting, according to Reuters.

Could Seth Rogen and James Franco trigger a conflict with North Korea? That's what Pyongyang says, calling the duo's upcoming film an "act of war [ http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/north-korea-calls-new-seth-rogen-film-the-interview-an-act-of-war-1.2686677 ]."
In "The Interview," starring Franco as a TV host and Rogen as his producer, the two are sent to North Korea to assassinate supreme leader Kim Jong Un.
"The act of making and screening such a movie that portrays the attack on our top leadership... is a most wanton act of terror and act of war, and is absolutely intolerable [ https://au.news.yahoo.com/entertainment/a/24318976/n-korea-says-kim-assassination-comedy-an-act-of-terror/ ]," a foreign ministry spokesman said in a statement cited by AFP. He also threatened a "resolute and merciless response" if the film is not banned by the U.S. government.
The statement was released via the official Korean Central News Agency, which last month called President Obama a "wicked black monkey [ http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/05/08/north-korea-obama-monkey_n_5288121.html ]."
The response comes days after Kim Myong Chol, executive director of The Centre for North Korea-U.S. Peace and an "unofficial spokesman" for the regime, also denounced the film.

"A film about the assassination of a foreign leader mirrors what the U.S. has done in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Ukraine. And let us not forget who killed [President John F.] Kennedy -- Americans. A North Korean foreign ministry spokesman said in state media that the movie's release would be an "act of war".
He did not mention the title, but a Hollywood movie called The Interview with a similar plot is due in October.
Hollywood actors James Franco and Seth Rogen star in the action-comedy film.
Rogen, who is also one of the directors of The Interview, has since responded on Twitter saying: "People don't usually wanna kill me for one of my movies until after they've paid 12 bucks for it."
