Although it’s advantageous for some of us (supposedly), it’s a royal slap in the face to Canadian investors who have been in “trading prison” for entirely too long (unjustly). I have been fortunate enough to average down over the last few weeks; however, I think it’s important to appreciate/recognize the sentiment experienced by both parties involved (United States/Canada). For all I know, my “averaging down initiative” could bite me in the ass if disgruntled Canadian investors decide to dump millions of shares when the CTO is lifted.
It’s very important to be cognizant of all parties involved to best understand current conditions and forecast what’s to come.
