I think you've answered your own inquiry.... maybe you should take this up with the CEO... after all if the sentiment is that you aren't believing him as is the perception (and that's reality) then I would suggest you try the FLUFF master then and see how he spins it. Then lets compare the information with what the CEO FLUFF's up for you.

If your not going to believe the claims being made by those who appear to have some good information then I would say its your responsibility to verify quant, and qualf that with your own DD because it "appears " he has done his. It seems as though there is little DD done when it comes to knowing how deep and how to measure /evaluate DD here. Tag your it.
