Hear, hear, DataStream. As a socially responsible investor I'd invest in the MJ sector any day before RJR, booze, or military industrial.
I have a close friend who was diagnosed with MS 20 years ago and is still relatively high functioning as a result of living in OR where med MJ has been a god send.
Beyond that, when comparing the negative human impact of the "sin stocks" MJ is far and away the least harmful. And on the pharma front, it's time to start recognizing the value of neutracuticals. Have you ever READ the warnings on big pharma drugs? Puh-leeze...
But in terms of this as a biz strategy for WDDD, as an investor vs. a trader, I'm delighted that the company is diversifying beyond the binary Markman outcome.
