I hate to say it, but this is still probably little more than a hobby to Stan. It's something to keep him busy. Gill or someone probably convinced him to go with a public company to defray the costs of doing whatever they want (pay themselves a huge salary, delay taking it when no money comes in, take back pay when money does come in. Sell stock to pay expenses when there is no money). Neither Stan or Gill seem to have the necessary skills to run a successful public company. Nor have they shown any interest in hiring someone that knows how to run a successful business. They seem content to take in whatever easy money comes in.

We are just here on the off chance Stan comes up with another Spider-Man or Fantastic Four (I guess we can include Avengers and Iron Man).

For a while, after Disney bought 10% of the company, Stan and Gill seemed to make an attempt at making POW! a real company, but then they just appeared to stop.

POW! seems to have a couple of good partnerships (1821 Media with Kids Universe, Genius Brands with Stan Lee Comics and "Mighty 7", Disney with "Zodiac") hopefully they can drag POW! into being a successful company.
