Pretty poor performance today. Could this be a reversal of "buy the rumor, sell the news?" Could the lack of announcements "setting-up" the release of results be a reason for it. Are investors just frazzled trying to keep up with the different NASH drug developments?

Seems pretty much like the same daily pattern of late. A little pop in the AM followed by a downtrend throughout the rest of the day. As a new investor, I didn't realize how child-like I would be (lack of patience) knowing that news was coming soon. I'm learning that I have no choice though.

Let's hope that "good things come to those who wait!".

I was reading a message on the ICPT Yahoo board by (mdphd87) titled: "From a scientist but not an analyst"

It's an interesting read though he doesn't even mention Galectin-3 knockdown as a method of fibrosis/inflammation control. Perhaps he's unaware of this research? He discusses three drugs in development and the problems with 2 of them (non-icpt) being that they don't target the hepatic stellate cells, the main culprit of fibrosis deposition. A google of "Galectin-3 blocking fibrosis" turns up several scholarly articles which discuss just that. I was tempted to pose this question to mdphd87 on that forum, but I don't have a login there and am not sure I want to become that involved with another forum (sometimes it's good to be in "read only mode".

Anyway, those are my thoughts for the day.
