Oh....agreed . I was speaking from the contrarian responses. But this company has so many problems that they can't get out of their own way. If what you state is true and they are sending this wood round trip I can assure you HD will be issuing charge backs that will make this CEO's head turn around like a top. I'm betting they are selling all this at a loss in the 1st place... Trying the old angle of wanting to make it up in volume....which is the last thing they can afford to do ... his high risk poker game looks to have bit him on his own arse. That wood comes back costing the company probably twice as much as they sold it for. Those who know nothing about the BIG BOX shipping and rcving rules and purchase order agreements even know that charge backs are a profit center. Those who dare ship walmart's etc... they take video's /pictures proving loading technicalities are held to the big box specifications. Its no joke with these traffic depts. today. It went from the sentiment of just being a penalty by not complying with their rules and qlty control to what's now a profit center. HD makes money and they eat their vendors profit margins for lunch... wonder why they can discount? 10 truckloads will never give ECOB a growth opportunity... there may be such a thing that it could be more as well once the word gets out about the problems. This of course is all suspect until ther is documentation made on this. I would say this is one piece of horrifying information the CEO will not want made known.
