Here's the short version: VM owns 2 private companies, Vincent Chase Inc and PVM Intenational Inc. All his common stock is held by those 2 companies, so they own the shares Directly and he owns the shares Indirectly. Every time one of the companies acquires or disposes of shares they have to file a Form 4 based on their direct ownership and he has to File a Form 4 based on his Indirect ownership....both for the same shares. It looks like two transactions, but it's really only one.
If you look at the latest Form 4 filings (Click "View" at your link) you'll see that the final holdings of VC (13,276,945) plus the final holdings of PVMI (3,073,053) equal the reported holdings of VM (16,349,998) and that all the transactions of the 2 companies are also listed on his Form 4.
I'm not sure where your "Vinny holds 32.5MM shares" comes from, unless you are adding all 3 Form 4's together, which isn't right based on the above explanation. He has the 16.3M common shares shown plus another 10M if he converts his Preferred shares.
Hope this is what you were talking about when you said "I am not sure what is going on".
