Michigan Racists Want Land Mine Field to Stop Immigrant Children

Racists in Michigan are up in arms about the possibility that up to 120 unauthorized Central American teens who fled violence in their home countries of Honduras and El Salvador will be taken to Wolverine Human Services’ Pioneer Work and Lean Center in Vassar.

The children would stay for up to four weeks, and would receive housing, food, medical care, and education until they are connected with relatives in the United States or returned home, depending on the results of their visits to immigration court.

Protesters of the sort that sent threats to Glenn Beck because he wants to help the children, carrying the Tea Party-adopted Gadsden Flag and Alex Jones signs, gathered outside a Wednesday meeting to protest the temporary housing of the children.

Residents proudly stood up to voice their hatred. “We want to live the American dream for our kids, not some kids who are dropped off in our lap,” said Vassar Township resident Chad Fabbro.

A redneck, racist, old white guy pretended he was not there because he is a bigot.

“I’m not here because I am some redneck rube from a small town in the Michigan Thumb. I’m not here because I’m a racist. I’m not here because I’m an old white guy. I’m here because I’m concerned about the federal government, and I’m concerned for my grandchildren and their future,” said Lou Smallwood of Tuscola Township.

Republican candidate for the Michigan House Tom Wassa added his two pesos. “The housing of illegal aliens is violating U.S. laws. President Obama is failing to uphold the Constitution and laws enacted by Congress. … President Obama would be classified as a domestic terrorist. He is creating an atmosphere of fear and terror,” he said.

Other lawmakers joined in the fun, as well. “It’s a failure at the federal level to mind the border and sending mixed messages to other countries … There are no current state contract prohibitions that would prevent Wolverine from taking in ‘illegal immigrant juveniles,’” said State Senator Mike Green(R).

“This whole thing belongs to Barack Obama. I’m so sick of listening to his lying mouth on television. Let’s put the blame where it belongs, right over in Washington, D.C,” Vassar City Council Mayor Pro-Tem Dan Surgent added.

Of course, no meeting would be complete without someone–namely, Tamyra Murray of Michiganders for Immigration Control and Enforcement–voicing the true reason people oppose treating these children like humans. “The children are a game to control to the nation. It’s an invasion … If this program is allowed to proceed, it will never end,” she said.

A member of the Michigan 3 Percenters says she drove ninety miles just to complain about brown people. “It’s a safety and health concern,” said Shannon Toney. “These kids could be very sick without even knowing it,” pushing the conspiracy theory that the children are being sent across to infect Americans with communicable diseases.

Another man, who said he was “allergic to bullsh*t,” also pushed that idiotic conspiracy theory. “I fear within two years of letting these immigrants in, these masks will become standard,” said Tom Ratcliff of Kingston.

A Marine Corp vet had a horrifyingly unique idea to deal with the crisis: landmines. “I support a minefield along the border,” said Terry Mocny. He said that the undocumented children should be sent to the Standish Maximum Correctional Facility, which is closed.
