Ybnormal: I'm not an attorney so I don't know the full logistics. I have done my own dd and research regarding chp 7 bk and the conclusion that I came to was that common equity holders get wiped out if the purchase price isn't greater than all debts owed. In essense the chunk of change that cerp was bought for will go to the firsr position lien holder aka the first position debtor which appears to be Magna at this time.

This is all in my opinon
