Here we go folks! This is the current update new on China 10GW wave energy project.

10 GW that is 10,000 MW this is massive HUGE!

If this project is all said and done then we are looking for 20 dollars plus shares....No joke!

China Dives Into a 10GW Wave Energy Project

China’s commitment to solar and wind energy has been amply demonstrated. With several of its most populous cities located on coastline, China is now moving forward with plans to tap into marine energy.

Partnering with Israeli marine renewables firm, SDE Energy, China will construct a 1 MW marine energy power plant by the end of April. This is just the first of a longer-term 10GW marine energy project designed to bring efficient electricity to China.

SDE contends that wave energy could potentially provide “four times more energy per square meter than wind energy." SDE’s system uses a floating buoy attached to a breakwater. The buoy is attached to a series of cylinders containing pistons and hydraulic oil. As the waves hit the buoy, the subsequent up and down movement drives the pistons against the hydraulic oil. The pressurized oil is then piped to a generator that produces electricity.

With more than 9,000 miles of coastline, the potential is enormous for China’s extensive use of marine generated power. Additionally, since many of China’s largest cities are on its coastline, using marine power would negate the need for expensive energy transportation infrastructure.
