IE: finding skulls or bones in wreck area . . . I do not know if OMEX is allowed (or legally anyone else) to bring them to surface . . . as wreck is memorial to those lost therein? In an extremely ancient wreck there might be arch-co discovery rights . . . to examine DNA, etc. of such . . . to determine country-of-origin. We know where they came from in this wreck . . . USA two centuries ago.
I am thinking it would take some amount of more time on wreck site . . . to bring scattered human remains to surface. This would not be useful? They could easily get mixed up, probably best to leave them in the deep as able?
Tooter Turtle your observation of OMEX having the option of its PRs set by court ordered release, hardly helps us investors in all this.
If we watch the share price, this may give us clues as to what's being found? I would suspect big investors in OMEX, are very conscious of what is happening when OMEX returns to docking site.
I do not see why they could not use listening devices and rapid frame photography, to get some advanced info (of course, we all know such things do not happen in real life). ;) Spectrographic high speed photography might also help define what was being photographed (e.g. PMs,etc.), by registered wavelength.
Shorts must be getting nervous as 3rd return of Explorer to docking (when it occurs), will be significant in the sense of how long OMEX stays in port. A 4th trip and more, will make definite changes in stock positioning strategy for everyone apparent?
I would like to observe an end to trips out sometimes in July and a timely PR release approval by court as to what amount value was found, OMEX cut amount specifics earned as per salvage contract, and see us released with cash to move on to next assignment.
Others have estimated OMEX will need tens of millions to keep active for 2014. This might be necessarily provided by their loan draw rights, once the loanee gets satisfaction of amount of find recovered?
Stock price (on announcement of recovery amounts) could shoot up several dollars, and then be immediately shorted again?
