If you are talking about ihubs time and sales feature it indicates that anything on the ask is a buy (green), anything on the bid (sell). I would guess that if you are seeing another color it is something between the bid and ask so they don't classify it as a buy or a sell. It is not the most useful thing since it is delayed and it assumes that all ask prints are buys and all bid prints are sells.
