America’s Newest Airline Will Sponsor The “Baltia Airlines Thunder Over Michigan Airshow”

As America’s Newest Airline, Baltia (OTCQB: BLTA) will finally get the chance of a lifetime to debut itself to the world at the annual Thunder Over Michigan Airshow on August 9-10. This year’s show has been appropriately titled “The Baltia Airlines Thunder Over Michigan Airshow,” which is expected be a very exciting and monumental event for Baltia’s management team and shareholders. The Airshow’s director, Kevin Walsh, stated in a press release, “We are very excited to partner with an emerging aviation star like Baltia Air Lines…Their support will allow us to put on a world-class air show at Willow Run." (1)

While such an event is unprecedented for the start-up airline, it is just the tip of the iceberg for what the company may have in store for the world to see. The Airshow’s public schedule covers August 9 and 10, but the initial media coverage begins a few days in advance. Baltia’s 747 aircraft, which recently had all four engines mounted, will take flight from Oscoda to Ypsilanti, Michigan, where the Airshow will be held. When it lands, there will undoubtedly be local news teams ready to film the landing, and likely interview the company’s CEO and President, Igor Dmitrowsky. Thus, while the show’s attendance spans over 100,000 aircraft enthusiasts, the real number of eyes that will witness America’s newest airline will be well into several million, if not tens of millions, once coverage of the 747 plane is televised and published in prominent newspapers and radio stations. Baltia has a contractual agreement, as per their press release, with Yankee Air Museum, to fully publicize all aspects of the company to the world.

The Thunder Over Michigan Airshow is one of the largest public aviation events in the world, with “more than 50 million media impressions including more than 20 million Web site hits annually.” (2) The benefits that Baltia will realize from being the title sponsor of this tremendously exciting event is very extensive, and include the following:

• Advertising rights with air show media program. This includes “all media releases, TV ads, radio ads, newspaper ads and magazine ads…social media networking, emailing and web campaigns of the air show.” (3)
• Recognition at the event through professional announcements and promotional displays or kiosks. (2)
• Increased exposure to large investment firms through publicity and association with sponsors such as Budweiser and Yellow Pages.

Baltia Airlines will soon be the first US-based international airline in over two decades, which is a tremendous accomplishment for both the start-up and Kalitta Air, which has been an invaluable resource for the company. Kalitta possesses one of the most state-of-the-art, advanced facilities for simulator training and aircraft maintenance checks. Several dozen of Kalitta’s crew members were involved in checking over 28,000 different components of Baltia’s aircraft, and they will soon be completing this extensive, but critical step of the certification process. The plane is currently fully assembled and awaiting its initial round of flights, which include the trip to Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti for the Airshow.

Over the past several weeks, Baltia has been very effective at communicating to shareholders through press releases and articles on SmarterTravel.com and theloadstar.uk. Recent events include initial aircraft dispatcher training, cabin safety training, and job ads for an assistant chief pilot and a check airmen, both positions of great importance.

Of the many recent events, the most intriguing is the momentum and price action of the company’s publicly traded stock. Up nearly 120% from just two weeks ago, a surge in volume has closely trailed the increase in press release frequency. A Form 4 was released in early June, which listed the purchase of $300,000 worth of stock approximately 10% above market price by a company insider. Insider purchase of stock has historically been a sign that a bullish move is about to occur over the following months. As the stock was a private investment, the shares must be held for six months, indicating that the insider believes the stock will be significantly higher than the purchase price.

In addition, over the past few years, many small companies have received institutional investments in the tens of millions. One example of this is DHT Holdings, Inc., which received an investment worth $8.7 million in 2011, representing 17.78% of the company’s float at that time. A similar investment in Baltia would represent over 20% of the company’s entire share structure, or 80% of the float. DHT’s market cap in 2011 was approximately $227.83 million. (4) Another example of penny stock institutional investment is Abraxas Petroleum Corp, which received net investments worth $18.3 million, equal to nearly 25% of the company’s float. Baltia’s market cap could greatly exceed $500-600 million prior to certification, which is an attractive time for institutional investment firms to acquire a holding position in the airline.

While the Airshow is the most significant publicity event in Baltia’s history, it is another of many events that Baltia will likely be hosting or attending leading to certification. Over the next few weeks, as the light at the end of the tunnel quickly nears, both investors and Baltia’s management team will be eager to witness the birth of America’s newest airline.
