I'm not sure about your point here regarding the GE dividend.

GE has paid a dividend each quarter for over one hundred years.

The current quarterly dividend is $.22 per share, or $.88 per share per annum. The present per annum dividend yield is 3.3%.

For DRIP investors like myself, I am enjoying those quarterly "free GE shares"
