Finally, a moment to myself. So guys and gals, my little road trip led me to a luxury apartment building. The kind of apartment building with doormen and a concieriage. In fact, my pic, shows it in the background. Although amused at my attempts the doormen certainly we're not going to grant me access to any of the living quarters. I certainly wish I could tell you, I was let right up to Russell Smiths apartment, and when he opened the door, there were vape pens, and hemp everywhere. But I can not. What I can earnestly tell you is that I immediately called the number listed for DSCR. (310) area code, defineately a local area code here and in the general area. On the third ring, Russell Smith answered the phone. I introduced myself, and told him I was downstairs of the apartments in my truck, and was wondering if there was anyone available to speak to me. Silence ............. Then he spoke up and said well, you have me on the phone now, what can I help you with. I asked if the address listed was the correct address. He said yes, however our office is in Clark County Nevada. I immediately asked if we would be doing any business in Nevada. Again, silence ............
He then stated that if we were we would get an update immediately. I asked about fins, he said they are on their way. I asked about hemp in Canada, and he said the crop was being planted as we spoke, and that it would be ready for harvest in 4 months time. I asked about VPR, I told him that it has been so long since the initial pr's that it's hard not to wonder what is going on. He assured me it was definite, that the only thing holding it up was paperwork. He said Discovery is strategically positioning itself to be a leader in the Hemp industry, not only in Canada, but throughout the Americas and more as law permits. He asked me if I had been on the website lately as they had just made it possible for potential farmers to connect. I asked him with all the recent and continued halts and suspensions etc, do we have anything to worry about. He said DSCR is legit, a real business, with real vision, and a real plan to get there. I asked when we could expect an update on Hemp in Canada, and he said he most likely will wait two weeks or so, he wants to be able to include pictures of the crop. He estimated in two weeks the plants will be in the neighborhood of about 1 foot tall.
I imagine pictures of that much acreage covered in hemp will speak very loudly to potentials here, not to mention be really cool to see. Anyways, people, I hope my efforts helped settle some nerves. If someone can confirm an address for the Clark County office, I'd be up for that as well (good three and a half hour drive, but a good excuse to head to Vegas for a couple days). I have to admit I have never called before, I have always just emailed. Which by the way I have always got a quick response from. For myself, I was gratefully reaffirmed of my decision to let it ride here by Russell's obvious enthusiasm, and commitment to not only DSCR and the vision there, but the obvious commitment to the bigger picture. The Hemp revival is in full effect, it is an eventuality soon to realized, and Discovery Cannabis will be one of the majors to get us there.

If you're reading this, Thanks again Russell for taking the time.

GO DSCR !!!!!!!
