If they had 900 000 uniques just in 1 day, their userbase might be much higher.
I have no inside knowledge, but i think it also depends on what the users are spending on the project(which i don't know what's the average cash the user spends on Meet). Our valuation was that, but keep in mind our users weren't even bringing in revenue. If the users are paying, the price per user goes up from that 2 3 $ price point, and the valuation is much higher.
This valuation on our end was done sometimes in the beginning of 2013, so the data to compare to is quite recent.
Our traffic was also much lower. They had 900k login in 1 day alone. We had about 280k - 300k uniques a day.
