WiLAN Subsidiary Acquires Medical Patent Portfolio

OTTAWA, CANADA, Jun 10, 2014 (Marketwired via COMTEX) -- Wi-LAN Inc. ("WiLAN" or the "Company") CA:WIN -0.30% WILN -0.32% today announced that a subsidiary has acquired a portfolio of medical patents that relate to Stent technology.

The acquisition of this portfolio will be funded through an upfront payment and the sharing of net revenues generated by licensing the patents.
