2012 the late (and great) Michael Hastings [ http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/americas-last-prisoner-of-war-20120607 ] reported in Rolling Stone Magazine that after one of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's friends was killed in Afghanistan, and after hearing his fellow soldiers talk about 'running Afghan children down with U.S. armored trucks' he sent his mom & dad a letter describing his disgust of the Afghan war. In his letter, he wrote:
But, CNN's Jake Tapper and other mediocre so-called 'journalists' are cherry-picking parts of that email Bowe Bergdahl sent to his parents and leaving out the part that Bergdahl witnessed "We don't even care when we hear each other talk about running their children down in the dirt streets with our armored trucks."
Tapper and his mediocre-journalist brethren are also letting Josh Korder, who served with Bergdahl in Afghanistan, trash Bergdahl and spew unsubstantiated claims: he went AWOL and 6 soldiers died looking for Bergdahl.
I don't know why Korder received an "Other than Honorable" discharge and I don't care why. But, I think it is important to know that one of the guys trashing Bergdahl and spreading unsubstantiated BS hate against Bergdahl received an "Other than Honorable" discharge.
Oh, and in my opinion, Jake Tapper and a host of other talking heads will never be a good journalists because they doesn't give a damn about the truth -- and -- because they know they suck, they cherry-pick sensationalist BS to gin-up hate.
Here are some other important facts ginners-of-hate are leaving out:
2012 Rolling Stone reported Bergdahl's fellow soldiers were jealous of him:
2012 Rolling Stone reported Bergdahl's platoon "screwed up" a lot:
2012 Rolling Stone reported Bergdahl's platoon was "under-manned"
2012 Rolling Stone reported Bergdahl's squad leader "demoted" and "reamed out for lack of discipline"
2012 Rolling Stone reported Bergdahl's unit 'bungled even the most basic military duties'
2012 Rolling Stone reported Bergdahl may have asked permission to leave the base:
2012 Rolling Stone reported Bergdahl's battalion had a 'shitty week' prior to Bergdahl leaveing:
2012 Rolling Stone reported no one classified Bergdahl a "deserter:"
All of this information has been in the public domain since 2012, so seriously, you have to ask: "why are Jake Tapper and all those other squawking heads leaving out all those details that Bergdahl was subjected to?"
As I said, in my opinion, Jake Tapper and a host of other talking heads do not give a damn about the truth and because Tapper and the rest know they suck, they cherry-pick sensationalist BS to gin-up hate.
